About The Event

First Course

Paired with Dry Creek Vineyard presents Sonoma County Fume Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, 2016: This vintage marks the winery's 45th anniversary making this wine, a feat of historic proportion. Maintaining a fair price, it offers lime, lemon and grapefruit within bristling, buzzing acidity. The texture is thick and refined. Balanced, it's dry and refreshing.

Second Course

Fresh Figs, Grilled Sweet Peaches, Seared Asparagus, Chopped Toasted Walnuts, Raspberry Apple Vodka Dressing.

Paired with J. Lohr, Paso Robles, Cabernet Sauvignon 2016: Winemaker's notes - the oak-studded terroir and cancerous soils couple with warm days and cool nights to develop intense character exemplified in velvety richness and supple tannins. Dense and soft, this wine boasts ripe flavors of blackcurrant and cherry, enhanced by a boutique of vanilla and spices from one of year of barrel aging and is an excellent companion to grilled beef or dark chocolate.
